Proposed topics for Bachelor's and Master's students in the academic year 2025/26:
(i) Learning and memory - the influence of environmental and physiological factors on cognitive abilities (e.g., colour and pattern recognition). Experiments will be conducted on domesticated zebra finches. The specific topic will be tailored to the student’s interests and availability.
(ii) Nature-themed board and party games – the consistency of the biological content in these games with current scientific knowledge.
To the students, I offer my help and time, I assure financial resources for research and give the opportunity to travel abroad. I expect genuine commitment and willingness to work in a larger group.
I teach Statistics, Evolutionary Ecology, Grant Writing in Environmental Studies [download reports 2021, 2022] and grant writing and systematic review courses for PhD students.
