Topics suggested for Bachelor and Master students in 2024/25.

How living in a variable ambient temperature affects:
(i) food consumption,
(ii) activity,
(iii) metabolic rate and other physiological parameters.
Experiments will be conducted in captive colony of zebra finches. The choice of exact topic can be adapted to the student’s interests and availability.

To the students, I offer my help and time, I assure financial resources for research and give the opportunity to travel abroad. I expect genuine commitment and willingness to work in a larger group.

I teach Statistics, Evolutionary Ecology, Grant Writing in Environmental Studies [download reports 2021, 2022] and grant writing and systematic review courses for PhD students.
